A view along the east length. The path over the black plastic will be decomposed granite. The track will float on decomposed granite. The ballast will be the larger rock chips sifted out of the decomposed granite. The toolbox is holding up track that will be over trestle outside the town of Chuckwalla Flats. Plans are for a trolley to run from Lee's Mill through Chuchwalla Flats to the south end of the layout.
