It got to 104 degrees F on the afternoon of June 21 in Pasadena, California. I was thankful as I strung lights and helped with table set up in the garden at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church that Susan held her ground for the 8:30 PM ceremony.
Susan's friend Gail made the cake and did a lot of the setting up, serving, and clean-up. Thank you!!!
Each table had ten little bouquets (thank you, Anna), tea lights and a floating candle. Guests sat at tables for both the ceremony and reception.
Susan and Nicole, her "dress maid," in their flip-flops du-jour.
Benjamin gets his boutonniere.
Naomi getting her corsage.
Susan and her flower girls.
Susan and I greeted guests as they arrived.
Pastor Ralph Torres, First Four Square Church of Pasadena, invited guest to be seated for the ceremony.
